A weekend in Sevilla

Hola, espero que todos se encuentren bien…

This past weekend, we traveled to Seville, a city 6 hours south of Salamanca. The weather was beautiful, it was nice and hot during the day, the sun shining bright and at night it was nice and warm breezy.

We arrived Friday around noon to a Four star hotel. (NH Hoteles) After a long bus ride, we were ready to find some food. So, we explored the city to find a nice “Tapas” restaurant with our friends Shane and Brandon. After lunch, two of us decided we were going to take a nice siesta, a siesta that turned into a 5 hour nap. :D After this 5 hour nap, it was time for dinner. So our little group was off to the city again to find some nice dinner. After looking at many restaurants we finally found one that would please us all. We sat outside, overlooking the Giralda Tower, drinking nice Sangria and enjoying the delicious food we had chosen.

Later that night we were ready to stay in a enjoy the nice comfy beds in the hotels, and then all of a sudden the lights went out -______- Since when does the power go out in a 4 star hotel?!?! -____- So what other choice did we have then go to sleep and make sure we woke up for the next day without an alarm clock.

The next day, our first half of the day was filled with a tour of the city. We went to Plaza de España and up the tower of Giralda. Shelby found her hometown of Toledo and I found comfort in the city. We enjoyed our weekend away from Salamanca with all of our friends, but our little vacation came to an end as Sunday morning we had to get back on the bus for a long 6 hour bus ride back to Salamanca.
